Julia Mach – Dance

Julia Mach worked with Elio Gervasi/Catherine Guerin, Pilottanzt, Rose Breuss, Georg Blaschke, Liz King, Chris Haring/Liquid Loft, Sebastian Prantl, Alexandra Maria Marcus/Coda, Darrel Toulon, Allen Yu … In 2002 she received the scholarship ‘DanceWEB Europe’, in 2005/2006 the foreign scholarship of the Office of the Federal Chancellor for Art in Austria. She studied at the ballet school of the ‘Wiener Staatsoper’, graduated with the Bachelor of Arts in Dance at the Hogeschool voor Muziek en Dans, Rotterdam/Netherlands. Master studies of ‘Movement Studies and Performance’ at the Bruckner University Linz/Austria and philosophy at the University Vienna.

Chris Sugrue – interactive design, technical development

Chris Sugrue is an interaction designer, artist, and programmer from the United States. She received her Masters of Fine Arts in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design in New York. Her past work in media art has involved research into computer vision, eye-tracking and mobile phone technologies. Currently, she is working as a Researcher of Creative Engineering at the Ars Electronica Future Lab.

Matthias Bauer – interactive design, technical development

Matthias Bauer is a graduate of the University of Applied Sciences Hagenberg where he studied Media Technology and Design. For his diploma thesis he was awarded the “Wuerdigungspreis des Bundesministeriums fur Bildung, Wissenschaft und Kultur”.
His activities in the field of computer graphics programming include numerous projects such as games, media installations and augmented reality research. Recently he has worked at the Wearable Computer Lab at the University of South Australia and at Videoplugger in London, before becoming a member of the Ars Electronica Futurelab team in 2005.
